This piece is a twenty-minute stage work that is actually a live production of a dance film. It embraces the camera as a performer, brings the audience a new perspective on live dance, and acts as an immersive experience for the dancers.

Teaching “Exploring Movement Through Media”
This class will examine dance improvisation through multimedia tools—such as filmmaking techniques and live stream technology—where movers will interact with each other, the camera, and the screen. Through the usage of ensemble improvisation exercises, individual exploration, and multiple lenses, we will traverse the realm of dance film to craft alternate perspectives of improvisational dance. *Please bring a cell phone or portable device that has a camera and can connect to a web browser.
